Our story
RARE.
Not a trend. A conviction.
Born from obsession.
Rare started as a hunt. Weekends spent in flea markets, estate sales, and forgotten wardrobes across Europe — searching for pieces that had survived decades without losing their edge.
We opened our doors in Brussels because the city understands contradiction: grand and gritty, formal and free. It felt like the right place to sell clothes that refuse to be ordinary.
Every item in the store has been chosen by hand. No bulk buying, no algorithmic curation. Just two people who believe that the best thing you can wear is something that already has a life.
Where to find us
Brussels, always.
We are rooted in the Dansaert quarter — Brussels' creative heartland. Our shop sits steps from the canal, surrounded by independent studios, galleries, and the kind of neighbourhood energy that makes dressing feel like a statement.

Curation
What we look for.
Curation is an edit, not a collection. We ask three questions before anything goes on the rail:
01
Does it hold up?
Construction, fabric, finish. Vintage clothing was often made to last generations. We only take pieces that prove it.
02
Does it still speak?
A garment from 1974 should feel relevant today — not as nostalgia, but as design. We look for cuts and details that transcend their decade.
03
Is it genuinely rare?
Mass-produced vintage is still mass-produced. We prioritise limited runs, regional labels, and pieces you won't find anywhere else in the city.
